Because
of working for the VSO in Namibia, and a series of unfortunate accidents,
including two gun attacks, being run over by a car, and conflict
with a tram (in and out of hospitals, in Namibia, Amsterdam and
the UK) there was a gap of few years in the work produced.
Adam
is currently working on many books. Among them: Ramblings
of a Bogus Asylum Seeker; KANJARI,
the life and loves of a 'dancing girl' in Pakistan; The
Reluctant Terrorist; and a fictionalised account of Vincent
van Gogh's intense, but brief and tragic romance with the prostitute
he called Sien. He is also continuing writing poetry, and is assembling
a collection of essays, based on various lectures he has given on
various occasions in various countries..
Any
spare time… Painting, rather badly!
