New book: Pepsi and Maria
Adam Zameenzad

Pepsi is a smart street kid, an orphan of circumstance, whose mother is dead and whose father - a famous politician - has disowned him. At his side is Maria, a girl kidnapped from her real family who has found in Pepsi a true 'brother.'

In this hard hitting novel, Pepsi's mission is to return Maria to her hometown known as Heaven: a community living on, and off, the city's mountains of rubbish dumped in nowhere land.

But in order to do so he has to escape the sadistic policeman Caddy who is obsessed with the lust of killing both the children, mainly as a personal vendetta, but also as a part of his crusade to rid the city of the 'filth and degradation' of street children.
New book, Pepsi & Maria

In this remarkable novel the children's zest for life and the beauty of the world around them ensure that this dramatic and poetic story, while dealing with the appalling reality of street-children's lives, is never depressing but rather uplifting to the spirit.
